A rotary screw compressor is one that utilizes two intermeshing helical rotors to trap a volume of air, then compress it to a higher pressure. Rotary screw compressors can be run at lower temperatures for 24 hours per day, 365 days a year. The Maintenance and breakdown is very low in Screw Compressor.A piston compressor uses pistons driven by a crankshaft to deliver air at high pressure. The maintenance cost and breakdown time is higher.

If you have a lubricated reciprocating Compressor, Oil change is every 500 Hours. For rotary screw Compressor oil has to be changed every 4000 0r 8000 Hours depending upon the type of oil employed.

Air compressors air intake filters need to be cleaned weekly. If your filter has built up so much debris that you can’t get it completely clean, or the filter is torn, you should replace it right away. In normal working conditions life of filter is 4000 Hours.

In India the correct Voltage for 3 Phase Motor is 415 Volt +- 10 %. For Single Phase Motor the correct voltage is 220 Volt.

The compressor should be able to run given the proper requirements, however we recommend not using a compressor with a generator. Generators have fluctuations in power, and because a compressor needs constant voltage, it is generally best not to use a generator to run the compressor.

The tank size you will use will depend on the amount of air that you need stored. A benefit to a larger tanked air compressors is that the motor will not start and stop as often and Load/Unload will not happen frequently.

It’s often a good value for you to add an air dryer to your air compressor system, as your air compressor can put a great deal of water into the compressed air system. Your air dryer could potentially remove gallons of water each day and will prevent your machine getting affected by moisture.
